Tibidabo amusement park

The oldest amusement park in Spain sits on the city's highest hill, and the ride up is half the day out.

Getting there

The vintage blue tram and the funicular make the ascent an event in itself; the bus from Peu del Funicular is the all-weather option.

Classic rides

The 1928 carousel, the museum of automata and the big wheel sit alongside modern coasters, so mixed ages travel well.

The view

At over five hundred metres you see the entire city and the sea beyond it, and sunset turns it into the best observation deck in Barcelona.
